Yuuki and Kokkoro went shopping, meeting Aoi who asks for their help, as she transferred to St. Theresa’s Academy for Girls, in Landosol. And, although months have passed since then, she has not been able to appear. However, her problem is that she was called by one of the Senpai the most outstanding of the academy, so Yuuki and Kokkoro accompany her as members of the “bb-team“.

The meeting place would be in a library called “the ivory tower“, where they meet Yuni, a student at the academy and the person who called Aoi. After they introduce themselves and Uni eats a ‘cereal preserved in sodium chloride with a preserved plum inside’, she mentions to them that she is working on a thesis on ‘the fundamental falsehoods that embitter the world’. Soon after, Chieru, a freshman, and Chloe, a sophomore, arrive. Moving on to the main topic, the one that the three of them want Aoi’s help to guide them in the Forestier forest, to solve the mystery of the “Green Guardians“.

Aoi, Uni, Chieru and Chole meet the ‘Gourmet Guild‘ in the forest, as they will accompany them. Entering the dark forest, they find a graveyard, which Aoi is the first time she sees. After doing some research and finding the tomb of the King of Krelenos, they leave. Finding themselves in a thick fog, Uni introduces them to Rosetta, a stone she installed virtual consciousness on and the one that gives them her location in addition to other functions. But, at that moment they discover to be in the same graveyard again, with Rosetta undergoing a change, which terrifies everyone and they start running.

Running into some silhouettes in the fog and separating from Aoi on the way. So they start looking for her in two groups. Finding her and discovering that those silhouettes were others’My Friends‘ from Aoi and that she was always fine, she was just trying to hide her secret of loneliness. However, they also meet skeletons, including that of the king of Krelenos, who after showing them the memories of him, is relieved of his “suffering” by Pecorine’s words.

Friendship Club Guild

On Princess Connect! Re:Dive 2 – Chapter 3 introduced us to three new characters who introduce themselves as “the great Yunis” or “the best friends club“, but in English they are named as members of the “Guild Friendship Club“, so I will name them as belonging to the “guild club of friendship“. These are Uni, Chloe and Chieru.

Yuni is a petite-looking girl, but with an age of 18 (yes, a ‘legal loli‘), who is obsessed with taking notes. Honestly, outside of the character’s loli appearance, I quite like her personality. Her fascination with her knowledge leads her to show comic facets that I enjoy seeing and remind me of the phrase: «It’s horrible, I love it». For me she is one of the people I could talk to and I wouldn’t get bored so easily, even if I can’t follow the conversation. At least not as easily as other characters who, with a similar personality, end up being annoying.

The seiyu yuni’s is konomi koharawho has given voice to characters such as: Chika Fujiwara (“Kaguya-sama: Love is a War“), Roxy Migurdia (“Muchoku Tensei“), Akane Mizuno (“Tsuki ga Kirei“), Hibino Mine (“Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san“), among others.

Second-year student Chloe is a 17-year-old elf with a personality of tomboy and touches of gyaruwhich made it my favorite of the “Friendship Club Guild“. And, although at first glance she seems to be somewhat “aggressive and cynical”, I feel that she is one of those who are gentle and kind, but who ends up seeming something else due to misunderstandings.

The seiyu that gives voice to Chloe is Atsumi Tanezakiwho has also done it with: Chise Hatori (“Mahoutsukai no Yome“), Skadi Dragenfelt (“Monster Musume no Oishasan“), Satowa Houzuki (“Kono Oto Tomare!“), Futaba River (“Seishun Buta Yarou“), Miu Amano (“Blend S“), etc. By the way, he has also given voice to animation characters hentai or classification productions +18for example, Maina Ooizumi (“idolSister“).

Lastly, the youngest member, only 16 years old, Chieru, proved to have an active and cheerful personality, which reminds me of Pecorine. Likewise, she also makes me believe that she uses this as a mask to try and hide her true state of mind. Of the three, although she is the one I like the least, but not to the point of loathing or seeing the character annoyed. I just feel like she would get along much better with the other two than Chieru.

Ayane Sakura is the seiyu in charge of giving voice to Chieru. Other papers of the seiyu They are: Ochako Uraraka (“boku no hero academia“), Tomoe (“Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu“), saki saki (“Kanojo mo Kanojo“), Shirokusa Kachi (“osamake“), Yotsuba Nakano (“Gotoubun no Hanayome“), Iroha Isshiki (“Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru“), among many others.

In general, I think theFriendship Club Guild” has in its members people who find it difficult to socialize properly with others. Whether it’s because of other priorities or misunderstandings, they all come together for a reason. And not only because of the social difference in which they find themselves by attending St Theresa’s academy. Each one, in her own way, lives her own ‘loneliness’ and that club helps them face their state before falling into ‘craziness‘.

types of loneliness

Princess Connect! Re:Dive 2 – Chapter 3 had as its central theme in the plot the ‘loneliness‘, interpreted in different ways, but similar between them. Aoi and Uni “protected” themselves by using inanimate objects as support, but they end up becoming special to them. Even though his way of “end up alone” has been different.

For their part, and as I already mentioned, I think that Chole and Chieru are also affected by a state of loneliness. While Chloe thinks it’s due to misunderstandings, from Chieru I feel like it might be jealousy. For example, being ‘pretty’ attracted boys’ attention, which made other girls jealous and spawned her own ‘loneliness‘.

However, they are joined by two more characters, Pecorine and the King of Krelenos. Both being separated from their loved ones in a forced way. While the king lost everything in one attack, Pecorine did so due to possible trickery and memory tampering. For that very reason, I think that Pecorine was the one who got along and understood the skeleton of the king in Princess Connect! Re:Dive 2 – Chapter 3, finding the necessary words so that he could rest.

fundamental falsehoods

Although the plot of the characters of Princess Connect! Re:Dive 2 – Chapter 3 focused mainly on “loneliness”, I consider that Yuni’s thesis has much more weight in the general plot of the story than it seems at first instance. It should be remembered that in past chapters and even in the first season it has been shown that the plot involves in a certain way the doom of a world, to which Yuuki would be quite linked.

In any case, Yuni’s thesis as well as his conclusions only leave unknowns to create more theories. With the hypothesis of having seen an event in a different plane. A parallel world/universe where the kingdom of Krelenos existed. And where I came to imagine that it could be the same world that has been shown in the flashbacks from Yuuki. The place that the “hero” could not save.

Society would not necessarily believe in it even if they were shown proof of the ‘truth’ or the existence of a ‘lie‘. Being the current world of Princess Connect! Re:Dive 2 one in which the scientific community did not believe in Yuni’s hypothesis, but perhaps they will with him “indicated subject“. A hero, for example.

Uni accepted that it wasn’t her job to prove the truth, but it didn’t affect her in a negative way either, as she fulfilled her goal. Waiting for the “indicated subject” meet your goal of the ‘truth‘.

A much deeper plot than I expected. Especially because I don’t feel like I was the one that had the most prominence in the episode. I hope that this marks more importance in the development of the plot of Princess Connect! Re:Dive 2 in the future, even if it’s not a near one.
